Vedra’s first major event of 2023 was a huge success after attracting the interest of nearly 1,700 doctors and pharmacists from Bulgaria and Serbia with its topical theme of how medical professionals can help their patients through epidemics without complications. The online show hosted by Elena Arabova presented the shared experience of several experienced specialists, as well as interesting news and reports related to the flu epidemic.

Prof. Vanya Yurukova (pulmonologist) spoke on the topic “Complications after acute viral infections – prevention and treatment”. Prof. Miglena Georgieva (pediatrician) presented “The world of cooperation. Macroorganism and microorganism” and discussed the importance of the human microbiome for health in general and specifically for fighting viruses and frequent infections. Prof. Svetla Vasileva (ENT specialist) also introduced the audience to the modern approaches to dealing with frequent upper respiratory tract infections. Leading GPs and pharmacists also shared their experience with Vedra’s products.
